La
Salsa offers personalized service and feature freshly prepared menu
items made without lard, preservatives, or artificial additives. In
1979 La Salsa first opened as a chain of Mexican “taquerias”.
These were neighborhood restaurants where locals and gourmets alike,
gather to eat the “specialty of the house” - the soft tacos,
which are so much a part of the Mexican culture. Today, La Salsa owns
and operates an expanding chain of quick, casual restaurants specializing
in tacos, burritos and other items served in the style of Mexico.
La
Salsa’s personalized approach combined with the Company’s
reputation for serving fresh, healthy food, provides a unique and consistent
experience to a broad range of customers in the community. This approach
results in significant positive word-of-mouth and repeat business.
La
Salsa restaurant designs stimulate all the senses to create contemporary
festive-like atmospheres that celebrate the authentic heritage of Mexico.
Inspired by the vibrant colors and rich textures of Mexican art and
architecture, La Salsa restaurants use a combination of colorful ceramic
tile, authentic artwork, and accent lighting. The restaurant design
allows for flexibility in the design and construction phases which supports
access to multiple retail configurations.
The
concept behind our food at La Salsa is simple. We take time-honored
recipes and update them to bring the bold tastes and flavors of Mexico
to life in a variety of unique dishes. We are constantly updating our
menu to capture the spirit of Mexico’s varied regions, with dishes
inspired by the fresh seafood of Baja, tender steak that transports
you to the plains of Pueblo, and marinated chicken breast grilled over
an open flame.
La
Salsa makes everything FRESH to order, each item at La Salsa begins
with the freshest, quality ingredients. La Salsa uses only highest quality
proteins, marinated sirloin steak, boneless skinless chicken breast,
seasoned fish, and shrimp. The assortment of fresh ingredients, spices
and sauces bring out layers of flavors in a variety of classic and contemporary
menu items. La Salsa is known for its unique proprietary sauces including
creamy Baja sauce, a robust Roja sauce, Ancho-Chile sauce, and its famous
tangy Chile-Lime dressing.
The
hallmark of the La Salsa restaurants is the display kitchen and a fresh
salsa bar, which allows customers to garnish their food with a wide
variety of La Salsa’s “signature” salsas and trimmings
that delivers a full sensory experience. We offer seven varieties of
